What these numbers are

Estimates built from signals that can be observed from outside a company. They describe what the public record shows, never what an employer intends or plans internally. Every figure on a metro page links to the record behind it.

Coverage is not exhaustive: an employer without a readable public job board is not counted at all. "No sponsorship found" means the Department of Labor filings were checked and none appeared — it is not evidence that a company will not sponsor.
